Two men from Ohio and a man from Chicago are being held on weapons charges linked to a customer disturbance at the Best Western Hotel at 510 Delaware Avenue early Sunday morning. Bruce D. Baker, 30, of Chicago; Tamarcus A. Steele, 20 of Whitehall, Ohio and Andre C. Jackson, 30, of Cleveland were charged by Police Officers Joseph Bonner and Michael DeLong with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

When the officers arrived at the hotel in response to a customer trouble call they found the suspects among about 30 people in the hotel parking lot. The officers allegedly found Baker in the rear seat of a rental car which had Steele at the driver’s seat and Jackson standing outside that car making what the officers described as “furtive movements.” A loaded Magnum handgun was found in the rental car of the suspects.
