Pro-choice stance hurts Higgins’ moral integrity

I read with interest the provocative News article about the feud between Congressman Brian Higgins and real estate developer Carl Paladino, both of whom I have known for many years. And while Higgins seems, in most cases, to be doing a pretty good job of representing his Western New York constituency, Paladino is right in saying that Higgins’ record in defending the rights of the most vulnerable of all – the voiceless, helpless unborn – has been disappointing to say the least. It is my hope that before Higgins accuses Paladino of lacking “moral integrity” he take a good, hard look in the mirror himself.
