All rights are subject to some restrictions

A recent letter writer strongly opposed any restrictions on his “right” to own a gun. I have a constitutionally protected “right” to vote. But there are some requirements and restrictions. I have to prove citizenship. I have to be over 18. I have to not be a convicted felon. There are additional residency requirements. I had to register to vote. Whenever I want to vote, my registration is verified. Records are maintained when I vote. Are these onerous? Objectionable? Unreasonable?
