Obama has no desire to reduce nation’s debt

President Obama spent a week flying around the country at great expense to tell us that because of these devastating budget cuts, the government will have to furlough food inspectors, border guards, teachers, and the list goes on and on.

However, less than 48 hours after the “devastating” budget cuts took effect, Secretary of State John Kerry said the Obama administration is “rewarding” Egypt with an immediate $190 million, part of a larger pledge of $450 million because of its promise of economic and political reforms. Kerry also said a separate $60 million is for a new fund to provide direct support to Egyptian entrepreneurs and young people. I guess the 20 fighter jets we gave them weren’t enough.

Since Obama is in the mood to cut, perhaps he should reconsider the $6 billion he promised in November to the countries of Malaysia and Brunei, for support of the U.S.-Asia Pacific Comprehensive Partnership for a Sustainable Energy Future group.

So, part of my tax withholdings from my paycheck is paying for green energy projects in Southeast Asia and Egyptian entrepreneurs. Don’t we have to borrow half of that money from China?

I wish the president would go golfing more often instead of threatening and polarizing our citizens. This president has zero intention of reducing our debt and zero credibility.
