CENTURY MARK – There was a little something extra for Marie Lane when Meals on Wheels volunteers came to her home in Lancaster on Wednesday.
To help her celebrate her 100th birthday, they brought along a small birthday cake, a Meals on Wheels card and a gift picked out specially for her.

LUCKY NIGHT – The Parent Guild of Immaculata Academy, the Catholic college-prep high school for girls in Hamburg, hosts its annual Shamrock Sweepstakes from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday in Macedonia Hall, 4785 Lake Ave., Blasdell.
