The Summit Federal Credit Union appointed Keith J. Parwulski senior manager, regional branch services, Buffalo. Parwulski, previously with Evans Bank, graduated from the University at Buffalo.


Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center appointed Kenneth Hatton director of environmental aervices. Hatton holds an associate’s degree from Bryant & Stratton College. He was senior environmental services supervisor at Erie County Medical Center.


The Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce elected Robert Biondi president of the Chamber for a two-year term. B&F Capital Markets in Cleveland recently promoted Saira Rahman to vice president. Rahman is a former Western New York resident who graduated from Williamsville South High School.

She is a Case Western Reserve University graduate. Most recently a senior associate, Rahman became the youngest vice president in the company’s history.

Company Connections

For the third consecutive year, a team of Canisius College finance students won first place at the Western New York Chartered Financial Analyst Institute Research Challenge. The competition is among university-sponsored teams that research a designated publicly traded company and present their findings to a panel of judges. Canisius advances to the North/South Americas Regional Research Challenge on March 20 and 21 in Toronto. The winner advances to the global final in London.
