Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center appointed Dr. Joshua Malik to the faculty of the osteopathic family practice residency program and named him a member of Memorial’s outpatient primary care team at the Summit Healthplex. Malik is completing residency training in family medicine at the hospital, where he serves as chief resident. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Miami.

Walsh Insurance is delivering meals to the homebound through Meals on Wheels’ “Adopt-A-Route” program. The value of Walsh’s volunteer assistance this year will be $2,900. The volunteers from Walsh coordinate weekly coverage among themselves, with two volunteers going to the site on the appointed day each week to pick up the meals and deliver them to up to 12 homebound community members.
