The workshop is a joint effort of the Erie County Soil and Water Conservation District and the Cornell Cooperative Extension Service of Erie County.

Topics to be discussed include funding opportunities for farmers, from federal, state and local sources; eligibility and requirements for farm funding; and specific issues pertaining to beginning farmers.

The workshop is geared to both experienced farmers and newcomers, organizers said.
