Those interested in learning more about caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease are invited to take part in a series of online training sessions to be offered by the Western New York chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Web classes are geared toward family members who are caregivers for people with the disease, organizers said.

The “Family Caregiver Lunchtime Webinar Series” will be held on Mondays, once a month, beginning in May, said organizers with the local chapter.

They will take place from noon to 1 p.m. on the scheduled dates.

Topics will include caregiver stress, care options and managing difficult behaviors.

The first session will be May 6 and will address “Introduction to Care Options.”

The next session, June 24, will be about safety in the home.

To register, email the chapter at program.wny@alz.org.
