The Town Planning board on Wednesday will review the site plan for an 11,400-square-foot Orville’s Home Appliances store proposed for a parcel at the corner of Transit Road and William Street.

Kulback’s Construction owns the property at 4735 William, across from the Walmart at 4975 Transit, and plans to construct the one-story retail space on behalf of Orville’s, with site work beginning as early as this month if the project receives the necessary approvals.

The project was discussed at the Feb. 20 Planning Board meeting but members asked the developers to return for Wednesday’s meeting to show what the building’s facade will look like.

The project requires site-plan approval by the Town Board. The local appliance chain has four retail locations – in Amherst, East Amherst, Cheektowaga and Orchard Park – and has its warehouse and corporate headquarters at 3979 Walden Ave. in Lancaster.

The Planning Board also will review the site plan for the Buffalo Vascular Center, a one-story outpatient health care center at 6335-6337 Transit Road. The 9,140-square-foot structure would be built on a 1.4-acre parcel on Transit near Rehm Road.

The board meets at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall, 21 Central Ave.
