Data to be considered in determining the future of the Ken-Ton School District has begun to arrive from the consulting firm performing a consolidation study.

“Demographic-Economic Characterics Profile Based on Census Bureau Data” is the first of three reports expected from SES Study Team of Canastoga. It has been posted on the district’s Website: Click on the Consolidation Project tab.

Meanwhile, a work session on the 2013-14 budget is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the auditorium of Hoover Middle School, 249 Thorncliff Road. The approximately $151 million preliminary spending plan presented last month has a deficit of about $3.1 million.
