Bush right to quell Iraqi dictatorship

Recent letters to the editor here give the impression that the war in Iraq was a mistake, that it didn’t make any difference here in the United States. The silent majority – those with less time to rabble-rouse for a living – are very much appreciative of our warriors’ actions and sacrifices. We know that they improved the circumstances of the average Iraqi while making a statement that the United States wouldn’t tolerate such dictatorships, thereby making us safer. While they quenched one of the governments in the Axis of Evil, we are content today to give clever speeches about the others.
