The University at Buffalo men’s basketball team will try and rebound from a disappointing loss Saturday when it takes to the road at 7 tonight against Kent State.

The Bulls (11-16, 6-6 Mid-American Conference), seek their fourth consecutive MAC win, when they face the Golden Flashes (15-12, 5-7).

UB is coming off a 65-64 loss to Manhattan as Tony Watson led the Bulls with 24 points, including seven three-pointers. Junior forward Javon McCrea posted his ninth double-double of the season with 15 points, 11 rebounds and a personal-best six blocked shots.

The Golden Flashes are coming off a 70-63 win at Loyola of Chicago on Saturday and are led by Chris Evans (17 ppg, 7.6 rpg). UB is 0-15 overall at Kent State.

In women’s baskeball, St. Bonaventure (9-18, 2-10 Atlantic 10) will try and end an eight-game losing streak at 7 p.m. at Fordham (20-7, 10-2).

The Bonnies haven’t won since Jan. 23 when they defeated Rhode Island, 48-28, while Fordham is playing for seeding in the A-10 Tournament. Fordham trails first place Dayton (24-1, 12-0), the nation’s No. 12 ranked team, by two games in the standings and Charlotte (22-4, 11-1) by one.
