Hotel is inappropriate for former psych center

I’m glad I haven’t heard any more talk about turning the former Buffalo Psychiatric Center into a hotel. As a former psych center caseworker, I wonder: Do not any of these planners have a soul?

There are tens of thousands of human beings who spent years – some of them all their lives – in that hell hole. Do they not think there are souls crying and screaming in the halls of that building?

There is nothing beautiful about that building. The preservationists are preventing this area from moving into this century. They may or may not be smart, but they have no wisdom whatsoever. Please wake up and use the money on something useful.
