An 18-year-old Cheektowaga man was arrested hours after a Wyoming Avenue concrete contractor business was ransacked during an early-morning burglary Monday. Buffalo and Cheektowaga police are looking for his two alleged accomplices.

Troy Jones, of Reo Avenue, was charged with third-degree burglary, grand larceny, criminal mischief and unauthorized used of a vehicle in connection with a burglary at Surianello General Concrete, also doing business as Upstate Concrete, at 635 Wyoming.

A $600 grinder stolen from the Buffalo business was reportedly recovered when Jones was arrested as he sat in a white Lincoln at his house. Police also reported finding reels of copper stolen from a Warwick Street business in Jones’ garage.

Police believe Jones and two accomplices cut through the chain on a gate to get into the Wyoming Avenue business. They then stole power tools and damaged the glass on two doors and a John Deere lawn tractor, and stole keys and ransacked an upstairs office before stealing a 1996 Ford 350 pickup truck.
