An informational meeting about the ongoing $11.9 million capital project in the Tonawanda City School District will be hosted by the School Board at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the High/Middle School auditorium.
Representatives from the district and capital project administrators from Wendel Duchscherer Architect and Pike Company will answer questions from the public.
The project is scheduled to enter its next phase, with construction work on the new Clint Small Stadium and renovations around the Tonawanda High/Middle School campus expected to begin this summer.

• The School Board will continue its 2013-14 budget presentation series with an advisory board at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the library media center at Tonawanda High/Middle School, 600 Fletcher St. A regular meeting of the board will follow at 7 p.m.

• Applications for prekindergarten program for the 2013-2014 school year are available until Feb. 28 at Mullen, Fletcher, and Riverview Elementary Schools; the district office at 100 Hinds Street or the district website at www.tonawandacsd.org. Completed applications must be received at the district office by March 1.
Children must be four on or before Dec. 1, 2013 to be eligible for the prekindergarten program. There is no tuition but parents must provide transportation. Morning and afternoon Pre-K sessions will be offered five days a week at Mullen Elementary school and a limited number at the Child’s Creative Development Center.
