Coming attractions

• In boys basketball, the Monsignor Martin Association’s Manhattan Cup finals between No. 1 Canisius and No. 3 Timon St. Jude is Wednesday at Canisius College at 7 p.m.

• The Section VI Tournament continues today with three semifinals at Buffalo State — East vs. Cleveland Hill in Class B-2, 5:30 p.m.; South Park vs. Amherst in Class A-2, 7 p.m., and Lew-Port vs. Iroquois in Class A-2, 8:30 p.m. There are two Class C-2 semifinals at Jamestown CC — MST Seneca vs. Silver Creek, 6 p.m. and Maple Grove vs. Portville, 7:45 p.m.

Wednesday the Class A-1 semis will be at Buffalo State at 6 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. and a Class C-1 doubleheader at Jamestown CC.

• In today’s Monsignor Martin Association girls basketball semifinals Nardin plays Cardinal O’Hara at 6 p.m. and Holy Angels meets Sacred Heart at 7:45 p.m. at the Canisius College Koessler Center. The winners play on Friday at 7 p.m. at Canisius.

In the Section VI tournament, there are four Class AA quarterfinals at 7 p.m. tonight at the higher seed. There will be two Class D semifinals at Chautauqua Lake at 6 and 8 p.m.

On Wednesday, semifinals are in Class A-1 at Clarence, Class A-2 at Kenmore West, Class B-1 at Williamsville East, Class B-2 at Pioneer and Class C-2 at Jamestown High School.

Immaculata takes an 18-4 record into this week’s New York State Association of Independent Schools C Division tournament the New York City area. They will play the winner of Wednesday’s game between Calhoun (15-4) and Holy Childs (13-9) at 5 p.m. on Thursday at a site to be determined.

• The New York State Indoor Track & Field Championships will be Saturday at Cornell University in Ithaca.

• The New York State Bowling Championships are Saturday and Sunday at Strike N’ Spare Lanes in Syracuse. On Saturday the All-Section teams will compete. On Sunday, the Sweet Home girls and Frontier boys chase state teams.

• The New York State Girls Gymnastics Championships are Saturday at Smithtown East High School in St. James, L.I.

• The New York State Boys Swimming Championships are Saturday at Webster Schroeder.

• The Section VI rifle team will compete in the Rifle Regionals on Saturday at West Point.
