Teen’s lack of respect for adults is appalling

In regard to the West Seneca student who was suspended, where is this young man’s respect for adults, teachers and people in charge? He felt that he was wronged in that he had a right to be disruptive in a semi-competitive school meet. He got loud, and was ousted. He then tweeted a vulgar comment (oh, how I hate the availability of public crankiness) and presumed/hoped that he was protected under the First Amendment. Does he actually know what the First Amendment is? I’m guessing, no.

He acts like a child, expecting others to come to his rescue. He doesn’t need his mother to cry about excessive punishment. Work hard and stop blaming everyone else. Perhaps he should stay away from situations that cause him to become disruptive.
