RIDGEWAY – Two Medina men and a Lyndonville man were arrested after a month-long investigation of an indoor marijuana-growing operation was conducted in the Town of Ridgeway.

The Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force and Orleans County Sheriff Department executed a search warrant at 3642 Horan Road in Medina on Friday and seized 300 marijuana plants and one pound of dried marijuana, as well as a .22 caliber rifle, scales, packaging materials, indoor growing equipment and other drug paraphernalia.

Jacob J. Callara, 50 and Alejandro R. Martinez, 46, both of the Horan Road address, and Bruce W. Harrold, 49, of Garland Street, Lyndonville were all charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and unlawfully growing cannabis.

They were arraigned in the Town of Ridgeway before Justice Lawrence H. Sanderson, with Callara and Harrold remanded to Orleans County Jail on $5,000 bail and Martinez remanded on $1,000 bail. A return court date was set for Tuesday.
