The Common Council will hold a public hearing at 2 p.m. Tuesday on the sale of approximately two acres of land and easement rights near the Inner Harbor to Harborcenter Development LLC.
The Council also is expected to vote on the land sale, which calls for the Buffalo Sabres’ development arm to pay $2.2 million for the land, north of First Niagara Center. The Sabres are planning a $170 million complex that will include two indoor ice rinks, a hotel, parking ramp, restaurant and hockey training center.

• The Common Council will hold its pre-meeting caucus at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Room 1417 of City Hall.
• Public meetings to discuss the Michigan Street African American Heritage Corridor Management Plan will be held at noon and 6 p.m. Tuesday in Council Chambers.
The meetings are hosted by Ellicott Council Member Darius G. Pridgen, and the management plan will be presented by Karen Stanley Fleming, chair of the corridor commission.
• The Zoning Board will meet at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Room 901 of City Hall. The board will address a height variance for a new medical office building on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and an application for a live music license at Acropolis restaurant, 708 Elmwood Ave.
• The Preservation Board will meet at 3 p.m. Thursday in Room 901 of City Hall.
