Town of Cuba police, along with about eight other law enforcement agencies, made two felony arrests following a raid that netted $74,000 worth of marijuana, an assault rifle, 50-round magazines and some indoor-growing equipment earlier this week.

An investigation into unlawful activity at a residence on Route 305 South led to the recovery of 61 marijuana plants, other packaged marijuana, a large amount of ammunition and other items, Town of Cuba police reported.

George R. Brown, 30, and Sybil D. Davis, 23, both of Cuba, were charged with felony possession of marijuana, unlawful growing of cannabis and two counts each of endangering the welfare of a child, according to police reports. Brown also was arrested on two felony weapon-possession charges, police said.
