1. Cardinal O’Hara girls basketball. To complete a perfect regular season, Hawks will have to win at No. 2 large school Lockport Friday night at Lions’ annual showcase event.

2. St. Joe’s hockey. Make it 15 straight wins and a 22-2-1 record after big tournament win at Massena, where coach Rich Crozier surpassed the 100-win mark at his alma mater.

3. Canisius boys swimming. The All-Catholic meet Monday was, as expected, a Crusaders showcase which ended with coach Brian Spurlock getting pushed in the pool.

4. Clarence wrestling. Four sectional champions at UB made for yet another highlight for the Red Devils.

5. Canisius boys basketball. Despite loss in Erie to Cathedral Prep (top 10 school in Pa.), still No. 1 in state Class A poll heading into Saturday’s showdown with St. Joe’s.

6. Olean boys basketball. Heading to the sectionals as the top-ranked team in the state Class B poll.

7. Nichols girls hockey. Head to North American Prep Hockey Association postseason Sunday after winning regular season title.

8. Silver Creek boys basketball. At 17-0, a win tonight would give No. 2 small school Black Knights a perfect regular season.

9. Sacred Heart girls basketball. We’re a little surprised to see Sharks fall (by one vote) to No. 2 in large school poll behind the next team on this list.

10. Lockport girls basketball. This weekend boasts one of WNY’s best annual high school events. Lions host showcase in which they will have a shot at No. 1 small school (O’Hara) on Friday and No. 2 large school (Sacred Heart) on Saturday.
