BATAVIA – Mary Pat Hancock, the chairwoman of the Genesee County Legislature, will deliver the annual State of the County report at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 20 in legislative chambers in the Old Courthouse.

Hancock, who represents the towns of Batavia and Stafford, will discuss major trends affecting local governments and how the county is dealing with problems, notably rising unfunded state mandates.

“Changes are so significant that they impact every department and employee, as well as all of our citizens,” she said.
