Bloomberg will serve on the faculty of an international symposium on “Effective Arbitration & Mediation Advocacy – The Do’s and Don’ts,” presented by the New York State Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section and the Erie County and Monroe County bar associations on Friday at Hotel @ The Lafayette. He will be part of a seminar titled, “Arbitration Fast-Track: Effective Advocacy for a Faster Process.”

Company Connections

The DuPont Yerkes Corian manufacturing technology team at the Town of Tonawanda plant was recently honored with the DuPont Engineering Excellence Award for outstanding development and implementation efforts in support of Yerkes’ new Corian Private Collection manufacturing capabilities. The team members are: Hyun Sung Kwon, Patrick Patota, Don Mackey, Paul Beauchemin, Dave Courtemanche, Mike Czosek, Carl Beitelshees, Bob Pieper, Kristin Kinnish and Patricia Wopperer. The Tonawanda-based team is one of only five worldwide that received this DuPont award.

Indoor Air Professionals was recently contracted to assess and clean ventilation systems aboard the USS George Washington CVN 73, a Nimitz class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier located at a U.S. Naval base in Japan.

The Bon-Ton Stores raised $110,000 through its holiday promotion of teddy bear sales benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The proceeds from the 2012 holiday promotion will be distributed to 142 Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide in communities where the Bon-Ton operates.
