A man charged in December with burglarizing cars was at it again Tuesday, Buffalo police reported.

Anthony S. Gilmore, 24, of Stockbridge Avenue, was arrested about 2 a.m., after he was spotted getting into an unlocked car in the 400 block of Crescent Avenue, according to a police report.

Officers, responding to a 911 call about a suspicious person checking out cars in that neighborhood, said they ordered Gilmore out of the car and found him with burglar’s tools, including pliers. They also said they found footprints in the snow traveling several blocks and stopping at several parked cars in the Parkside/Amherst neighborhood.

Gilmore was charged with petit larceny, possession of burglar’s tools and unauthorized use of a vehicle, police said, adding that he also had been charged with stealing from a vehicle Dec. 18.
