Larger senior center is needed in Orchard Park

The seniors in Orchard Park show their concern for the town’s children by helping to pass the school budget year after year. They show pride in their community by keeping their properties pristine. They support and utilize their local businesses. They share the town’s traditions and events with family, keeping them aware of what their community offers. They now constitute close to one-third of the taxpayers in Orchard Park and have paid these taxes for decades.

It’s time now for them to receive the consideration of a larger facility for use as a senior center. Since we do not need another vacant school, why not thank them for their contributions to Orchard Park by giving them the Baker Road school property, which their taxes paid for years before?
