NORTH TONAWANDA – Permits for park shelters will begin to be issued with a lottery on at 9 a.m. March 2.
Residents must bring a current driver’s license or two utility bills to the parks department office at 500 Wheatfield St. Shelters without a kitchen are $50 and with a kitchen, $60.
After March 2, residents may buy permits during business hours from 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Starting April 2 through May 14, the office will extend its hours on Tuesdays until 7 p.m.
