Look for temperatures to get slightly warmer toward the end of this week.

After bitter cold and lake-effect snow last week, temperatures in the early part of the week should be in the 20s.

“It’s warmer than what we have been seeing,” said National Weather Service Meteorologist Kirk Apffel. “It does not look like a significant snow in the Buffalo metro area.”

Temperatures should slowly rise each day to Thursday, when highs should be in the upper 30s with a chance of rain or snow.
