Fashion retailer H&M plans to open its second store in the Buffalo Niagara region, in the Boulevard Mall, officials from the Amherst shopping center said Monday.
The H&M store, which will span 22,000 square feet, will take over a portion of the former Abercrombie & Fitch store. H&M, which opened a store in the Walden Galleria during the summer of 2011, also will have an exterior store entrance that faces Alberta Drive. The store will debut this summer.
The Boulevard Mall also is adding several other new stores.
The Limited is scheduled to open a 3,900-square-foot store on Monday in the space that previously was occupied by Boulevard Convenience.
Women’s apparel and accessories retailer Francesca’s Collections will open in a nearly 1,000-square-foot boutique space in the Center Court area of the mall that previously was home to Mrs. Field’s Cookies.
Coffee Time, a Canadian-based chain that serves coffee, doughnuts, pastries and sandwiches, is opening its first Buffalo Niagara sites this month, at two locations within the mall. Coffee Time will occupy a 750-square-foot site that previously housed a Dunkin Donuts, and it also will operate a kiosk located near the mall’s main entrance.
Coffee Time has more than 300 locations across Canada, with additional sites in Greece, Poland, China and Qatar.
