The Town Board hired New Wave Energy Corp. for a one-year contract through Feb. 1, 2014 for electricity supply for all of its facilities.

The anticipated savings for one year is projected to be $14,000, based on 2011 actual usage. The company plans to do an analysis at the end of the contract year to determine the town’s actual savings under its plan. Prior to now, the town’s electric supply had been spread among a few contractors.
