St. Agatha Mass: Our Lady of Charity Parish in South Buffalo will observe the feast of St. Agatha with a Mass at 7 p.m. Tuesday in St. Ambrose Church, 65 Ridgewood Road. St. Agatha is the Catholic patron saint of those who suffer with breast cancer. Tuesday’s liturgy will be a Mass of Healing for anyone battling breast cancer or any form of cancer or other illness. The sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be given during the Mass. Prayer cards with a picture of St. Agatha and pink rosaries will be distributed before and after Mass.

New pastor installed: The Rev. Lee M. Miller II will be installed as senior pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1080 Main St., at 2 p.m. today. The Rev. Paul Herpich, pastor of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Liverpool, outside Syracuse, will be guest preacher. A native of Jamestown and ordained in 1998, Miller is the seventh senior pastor in Holy Trinity’s 133-year history. He succeeds the Rev. Charles D. Bang, who left in 2011 to become senior pastor of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Hampton, Va.

Osborne to speak: Franciscan theologian the Rev. Kenan Osborne will deliver the 10th annual Brady Lecture in the Doyle Chapel of St. Bonaventure University at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 12. Osborne, author of “A Theology of Church for the Third Millennium: A Franciscan Approach,” will discuss the wisdom of St. Bonaventure, considered one of the great Franciscan theologians.

Honoring a saint: Bishop Richard J. Malone of the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo will celebrate a Mass in honor of St. Marianne Cope at 1 p.m. Feb. 10 in St. Mary Church, 6919 Transit Road, Swormville. A reception will follow. The Williamsville Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities are hosting the events to celebrate Cope’s canonization in October.
