The developer of the Riverview Solar Technology Park in the Town of Tonawanda has received a $30,000 grant from National Grid to help market the development as part of the utility’s efforts to help in the development of infrastructure across upstate New York.

TM Montante Development received the grant through National Grid’s Building Ready Upstate grant program, which helps companies develop infrastructure projects that could lead to new jobs and investment.

The Riverview Solar Technology Park is the first solar-ready business park in New York. The park currently has seven companies occupying 125,000 square feet of space across two buildings. A third building, featuring a 33,000-square-foot, two-story office facility and a 65,000-square-foot warehouse, is expected to be added to the park.
