LOCKPORT – A Buffalo man who sold cocaine to a police informant in North Tonawanda on March 7 was sentenced Tuesday to a six-month stint in the state’s boot camp-like “shock incarceration” program.

Jayquan A. Rivera, 21, of Interpark Avenue, had pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

If Rivera can’t cut it in boot camp, he’ll serve 18 months in a regular cell, plus a year of parole-like post-release supervision, Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas ordered.
