A Harding Street woman was arrested early Tuesday for allegedly beating up a male neighbor and then flicking blood at police officers after she injured her finger when she tried to barricade herself in an upstairs room of her house.

Athena Collins, 32, was charged with third-degree assault, harassment and obstructing governmental administration in the 2 a.m. incident.

Police said she arrived home after drinking and attacked her neighbor by kicking, punching, scratching, slapping and biting him. When police officers arrived, she tried to hide before being arrested.
