Two Buffalo men were charged with robbery and other counts Sunday and accused of accosting a man about 10:45 p.m. on East Ferry Street and stealing his cellphone, Buffalo police said.

Walter Stewart, 19, of Zelmer Street, and James Foots, 21, of Brownell Street, were quickly captured by police after fleeing on Woodlawn Avenue after the robbery, according to a police report.

The two young men were each charged with second-degree robbery, criminal possession of stolen property and obstructing governmental administration, the latter charge for allegedly struggling with officers during their arrest.
