The Western New York Trial Lawyers Association presented its Cegielski Civility Award posthumously to Neil R. Sherwood, the late partner of Cohen & Lombardo. The award recognizes an attorney who is courteous, fair and practices law with the utmost integrity. Also, the Defense Trial Lawyers Association of Western New York honored Sherwood by naming its newly created civility award in his memory. The Neil R. Schrock Metal Products, an Akron-based metal fabricating company, announced the first phase of a two-phase initiative to make it one of three fabricators in the country with Amada’s high-speed linear drive 4000W Flying Optic Laser, integrated with an automated material handling and storage system. Most recently, the company added 12,000 square feet of space to accommodate the machine’s phase-one component, a fully automated laser cutting system designed to reduce lead times, create extra storage, reduce costs and manage workflow.
