A Perry woman was arrested on assault and other charges Wednesday morning after she was accused of injuring three Buffalo police officers trying to restrain her while Bry-Lyn Hospital staffers were trying to take her daughter to a patient room for treatment.

The 32-year-old woman was charged with second-degree assault, harassment, child endangerment and obstructing governmental administration.

She is accused of kicking one male police officer in the groin, kicking a second male officer in his left leg and injuring a third male officer’s left index finger, after spitting at all of them as they came to help hospital staff deal with her.
