If Will is so smart, why did he back Bush?

I confess to usually letting George Will’s pompous and preachy “know it all” pronouncements get under my skin, and his column, “Some questions for Hagel,” in the Jan. 17 paper did it again. Well, I have only one question for Will: With all your omniscience, how could you have unwaveringly supported the previous president, George W. Bush – arguably going to be remembered as one of the worst in our history – for almost his entire term before finally realizing he might not have deserved that strong support? Your response, please.
