Ryan Schmelzer and David Seward each scored twice for the Buffalo Jr. Sabres in a 7-2 win over the Hamilton Red Wings at Mountain Arena in Hamilton, Ont.

Tyler Gjurich, back in action following a two-game suspension, scored his 39th goal of the season and added two assists to remain the OJHL’s leading scorer with 78 total points. Schmelzer, meanwhile, now has 22 goals and 36 assists (58 points) in 42 games. Backup goaltender Bobby Bloomfield had 21 saves for his seventh straight win. Buffalo (30-11-4) will host Milton at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Northtown Center.
