Public forum: “Faith Traditions: Sharing Our Stories and Visions of Peace” will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in Room 101 of Bogel Hall at Hilbert College in Hamburg. Rabbis Drorah Setel and Alex Lazarus-Klein, the Rev. Stan Bratton, Sister Sharon Goodremote and Drs. Othman Shibly and Sawsan Tabbaa will join a panel discussion moderated by broadcaster Paul Peck. The forum is sponsored by the college, Rotary District 7090, the Western New York Peace Center, Interfaith Peace Network and Peace Education Project.

King commemoration: Bishop Richard J. Malone of the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo will be the main celebrant and the Rev. Michael Upson, campus ministry chaplain at Monroe Community College in the Catholic Diocese of Rochester, will be guest homilist for a Mass and commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Katharine Drexel Church, 118 Schiller St.

A reception and theme basket raffle will be held after the Mass. All proceeds benefit the Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Fund.

Annual meeting: Imam Nazim Mangera, author of “100 Spiritual Sayings of Prophet Muhammad,” and imam of Masjid An-Noor in Amherst, will be guest speaker at the annual meeting of the Network of Religious Communities on Jan. 31.
