CLYMER – The operators of Peek ’n Peak Resort and Spa say a 7-year-old Ohio boy is back home after suffering a head injury when he fell from a chair lift.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says a local emergency crew was dispatched Thursday night after a child fell from a lift. Deputies say the child was taken by ambulance to Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa.
A ski area executive confirmed Friday that a snowboarder from Chardon, Ohio, fell 8 to 10 feet from a chair lift on the beginner’s slope. The executive said the boy was treated for a possible mild concussion and sent home with his parents.
