The Wegmans Family Garden officially opens Monday at the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave. Designed for children of all ages, the inside garden is a place to explore the plant world, learn about healthy eating, plant, dig and more. In addition to free play, regular nutrition- and food-themed programming will take place each Saturday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. and 11 to 11:30 a.m. for ages 4 to 10. Admission to the Wegmans Family Garden is included with paid admission and with membership. Free-play hours coincide with the Botanical Gardens’ regular hours.
