Gun ownership helps reduce violent crimes

I am opposed to any new gun control laws. We should strictly enforce all current laws, and prosecute and punish those who break these laws. Criminals do not care about new laws. New gun control legislation will only punish law-abiding citizens. I am currently a member of law enforcement, and encourage gun ownership by law-abiding citizens.

“Gun-free zones” are the favorite place for bad guys to go. They can feel confident that people will be unable to fight back.

Many communities are considering putting armed guards in schools, including the states of Arizona and Utah. It is a very sensible idea, and should be implemented everywhere.

It has been proven many times that the highest incidence of violent crimes occurs in places that have the strictest gun control laws. Examples include Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Australia.
