A Buffalo man convicted on a federal drug charge has been sentenced to 27 months in prison and a year of supervised release by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara, U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul Jr. reported Wednesday.

Prosecutors said Darryl Parker, 32, was heard on phone wiretaps ordering cocaine from a supplier between January and July 2008. Indicted with 33 others following an investigation into drug dealing and weapons possession in Buffalo’s Central Park area, he was convicted of using a communication facility to commit a drug felony.
