The American health care system will be examined from a sociological perspective when Debra Street, chairwoman of the sociology department at the University at Buffalo, speaks at the League of Women Voters Lunch & Issues meeting Friday in Scotch and Sirloin Restaurant, 3999 Maple Road at North Bailey Avenue, Amherst.
Street also will touch on the health care outlooks for middle-aged and older Americans and how they compare with those of Canadians at similar stages of life.
