Casimer T. “Casey” Czamara has been named executive director of Family Promise of Western New York, the nonprofit that aids homeless families in the Buffalo area.
Czamara has more than 20 years in health care management. He replaces Chris Scibilia, who has served as the interim executive director since October.
Most recently, Czamara was the chief executive officer of United Church Home Society Inc., Orchard Park. He has a bachelor’s degree in human services management from the University of Phoenix. He and his wife, Pattie, live in Buffalo.
Family Promise, at 16 Glendhu Place, brings together the skills of professionals and a motivated base of community volunteers to assist homeless families, providing material needs, restoring self-esteem and building a solid foundation for lasting stability.
