SPORTS: Eleven current and former professional football and baseball players will sign autographs at the Sports Collectors Expo Feb. 9-10 at the Clarion Hotel, 8250 Park Road, Batavia. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Scheduled to appear on Saturday are Fred Jackson and T.J. Graham, among others. Cost is $5 (children 10 and under free). FOOTBALL: Cross Training Football will hold its sixth annual Ice Breaker Football Coaches Clinic on Saturday at the Millennium Hotel on Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga. Registration begins at 7 a.m. The clinic ends at 1 p.m. Cost is $45 per coach or $39 per coach for five or more coaches. The first 50 registered get the book “Leadership Promise” by John Maxwell. Registration deadline is Jan. 16 (after that there will be a $10 late fee).

Greg Forest, offensive coordinator for Wilmington College, on quarterbacks and the spread game; Bob Rankle, Alfred University, on the Saxons’ best running plays and Wildcat package; Paul Vosburgh, St. John Fisher College, on secondary play; Glen Graham, Cleveland Hill High School, on developing the defensive lineman; Mark Layer, Clarence High School, on program organization from practice to the booster club; and Mike Torrillo, Sweet Home High School, on development of the linebacker and running back.
