Prudence E. Ciminelli, of Hamburg and Hillsboro Beach, Fla., a former model for L.L. Berger department store and part-owner of a used clothing store in Cheektowaga, died last Monday under hospice care in Boca Raton, Fla. She was 82.
Born Prudence Alto in Buffalo, she was a graduate of Hutchinson-Central High School and attended local colleges.
She was a professional model for L.L. Berger and later became a part-owner of Act II New and Better Used Clothing Store in Cheektowaga
Mrs. Ciminelli was a member of Wanakah Country Club and the Buffalo Trap & Field Club.
Her husband of 62 years, Armond, died Aug. 2.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim Mesi and Lisa Allen, and son, Dr. Mark.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. today in St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4737 Lake Shore Road, Town of Hamburg.
