The Gow School and Body & Soul Fitness Revolution of East Aurora are teaming up for a monthly fundraiser to help raise money for the Town of Holland’s effort to have a new Boys & Girls Club building.

The goal is to attract more than 120 people for the Jan. 19 fundraising event.

The workout will take place at 2 p.m. at the Gow School at 2491 Emery Road in South Wales. The Gow School is a boarding school for children with dyslexia and other learning disabilities.

A donation of $10 is required.

• The Aurora Town Board meets at 7 p.m. Monday in the auditorium of the Southside Municipal Center, 300 Gleed Ave.

• The nonjury criminal trial of Beth Lynne Hoskins on animal cruelty charges was adjourned all last week due to illness for her daughter and herself, but is expected to resume at 2:15 p.m. Monday before Aurora Town Court Justice Douglas Marky. The trial also is slated to continue at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
