Bilkey obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees and J.D. from the University at Buffalo. Brown, an immediate past president of the Minority Bar Association of Western New York, graduated from the University of Rochester and earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Feinstein graduated from Swarthmore College, earned his Ph.D. from Stanford University and J.D. from New York University School of Law.

Summit Educational Resources, a provider of educational and therapeutic services to children and young adults with autism, language disorders and related developmental disabilities, appointed Lisa A. Foti chief financial officer. Foti, a CPA, previously served as CFO of Hauptman Woodward Medical Research Institute in Buffalo since 2003. She is a University at Buffalo graduate.

Dopkins & Company, LLP Certified Public Accountants and Consultants appointed Albert A. Nigro a partner. Nigro is a member of the firm’s Leadership, Technology, and Branding Committees. He leads the firm’s Life Sciences service team and is an integral part of the firm’s Healthcare service team. Nigro, a CVA, CPA, joined the firm in 1994 with four years of public accounting experience and graduated from Canisius College.

Travers Collins named Robin Needham media director. Needham, a graduate of Medaille College, most recently held a similar position at SKM Advertising and previously worked in media for Eric Mower and Associates and Abbey Mecca & Company.

BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York named Michael Liwicki the director of corporate administrative services. Liwicki served as director of investigations for GDY Professional Investigations and previously was a Buffalo-based FBI supervisory special agent. He received his bachelor’s degree from Canisius College and is an adjunct professor at Hilbert College. Also, the company appointed Tom Tam vice president, chief risk officer. Tam, a CPA, served as the founder and executive consultant for T&M Advisors of Salt Lake City, and additionally, was the chief risk officer and Asia region CFO for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and is an MBA candidate at Colorado State University.

The Defense Trial Lawyers Association of Western New York honored Goldberg Segalla partner Mary Quinn Wydysh with the Robert M. Kiebala Memorial Award, the 2012 Defense Trial Lawyer of the Year. Wydysh has extensive civil trial experience that includes the defense of insured, self-insured, and municipal clients.

Dwight Moldenhauer Inc. appointed Mark Majewski senior executive with the specialized executive benefits firm. Majewski has spent his career with Alliance Advisory Group as a financial representative in the firm’s Buffalo office. He holds his bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo, and his chartered life underwriter’s designation from the American College.

Clark Patterson Lee, a design firm, promoted Steven Tanner to senior associate. Previously an associate with the firm, Tanner holds a bachelor’s degree from Clarkson University and an MBA from Franklin University.

Wesser has a background in human resources, and also spent five years selling new construction for a nationally recognized builder. She earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Medaille College.
